Welcome to Caffeinated Sunday! I love visiting local coffee shops and sharing my experiences. Coffee has been a part of my life since childhood, and I enjoy sharing it with loved ones. While I’m not an expert on beans or roasting, I can offer honest opinions. I prefer sweeter coffee, while my wife enjoys dark chocolate or spice flavors. I hope my experiences inspire you to explore local coffee shops.
Today, we had the opportunity to explore Hastings in the South East metro. Despite the slightly cool weather, the drive was enjoyable. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Fat Nat’s for the delightful breakfast in Saint Anthony Village. It’s undoubtedly one of our favorite spots. The attentive waitstaff and consistently excellent food never cease to impress. Following our satisfying breakfast, we decided to visit Froth and Cork, a charming coffee shop located in a historic brick home. They offer a wide selection of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. We were drawn to try a fall-inspired beverage due to the brisk weather. I opted for a steaming hot apple cider with a delightful blend of cinnamon, cream, and caramel – unquestionably one of the finest ciders I’ve ever had. My wife, Kari, savored an iced coffee and proclaimed it to be among the best she had ever tasted. Despite the tempting treats on display, we found ourselves still full from breakfast. The multi-level seating options at Froth and Cork offered a delightful experience as we alternated between the cozy interiors and the outdoor seating area to savor our coffee. Without a doubt, I am looking forward to revisiting Froth and Cork; from the exceptional coffee and treats to the inviting ambiance, it stands out as one of the finest establishments we’ve had the pleasure of visiting. I would rate it 4 out of 5 cups.
