Today’s journey was a swift quest for the perfect breakfast and coffee. With the Viking game on the horizon and a mountain of tasks to tackle before the Thanksgiving holiday, we needed a reliable spot.
We chose to stop at our go-to restaurant, which has consistently delivered outstanding meals. The Rusty Cow impressed us again, satisfying our hunger with quality food that never disappoints. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff was attentive and efficient, making our experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for one of the best breakfast spots in Lino Lakes, you won’t want to miss The Rusty Cow!

Our adventure continued at Makwa Coffee, and it was nothing short of fantastic! The shop had such a cozy vibe, making it the perfect spot to unwind or share a special moment with someone. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and ordered the Honey Bear—oh my goodness, it was a delightful blend of white chocolate, honey, cinnamon, and a sprinkle of sugar on top! Absolutely divine! I can’t wait to go back for another one!
Kari opted for the Ziigwan Sugar Maple, a refreshing cold brew with oat milk, caramel, and a hint of maple. While she thought it could use a touch more coffee and a tad less oat milk, it was still bursting with flavor! We both agreed that this is definitely a stop we’ll want to visit again and again!
